We are in the process of converting all applets to HTML 5 technologies (JavaScript, HTML5 form elements, and the Canvas element). These applets, denoted with the red die icon, should run, without plug-ins, in any modern browser on any platform. Older applets that have not yet been converted, and which still require the Java plug-in, are denoted with the brown die icon.
